I do not want to be a collection of impersonal lines in an email; I want to know who you are, why you wrote this book and how we can make it the best it can possibly be.
Having said that, if being lines on an email is your jam then that works for me too. I am all too familiar with being unable to people so let’s figure out how to collaborate in a style that works best for you.

I am an Englishman in my early 40’s and live in New Zealand with my wife and (equally nerdy) teenage son.
My twenty-year career in commercial publishing has required that I wear all the associated hats on an ongoing basis. I have written, edited and tamed millions of words in countless formats and people liked them enough to justify me running my own marketing and design agency since 2018.
In 2023 I was invited to proofread a novel entitled Champion of Small Gods by terrific author, and fellow D&D fanatic, Peter Roberts.
My proofreading enthusiasm and output led to additional line and copy-editing duties, which then morphed into being bestowed full editing responsibility for the author’s next two books; The Last Man and the forthcoming Told in Stone.
I love these three books as if they were my own and will be forever grateful to Roberts for not only recognising and having confidence in my skills but showing me that what I did on the other side of the literary fence was transferable to fiction. Leaping that fence fulfils me to such an extent that I have now established this site and these services.
Our productive, enjoyable (and time-zone conquering) collaboration is something I look forward to discovering with other authors and I can’t wait to fall in love with their books as well.
